Teesta Valley Tea

Named after the mighty Teesta River, Teesta Valley Tea Estate was established in 1841, becoming one of the oldest tea gardens in Darjeeling. It has been awarded a gold medal for producing some of the world's finest tea.

Spread across 850 hectares, it is situated on the sunny slopes with elevations of 2500 to 6500 feet above sea level, with selected China tea bushes highly planted with infinite care.

These fertile hills are blessed with cool mists, bright sunshine and crisp winds of Kanchenjunga. It gives the legendary flavor of the Darjeeling tea.

Located 32 km from Darjeeling and 51 km from Kalimpong. Teesta Valley Tea Estate is one of the most popular tea gardens in West Bengal. It is definitely a must-visit destination when exploring Darjeeling Tourism.
